Hi @Ex-Netweter @VincentD said a few pages ago that Telenet doesn't use traffic shaping and since he's a representative of Telenet I'm going to believe that. That said, it does look exactly like traffic shaping since if you read the first post in: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1020824261?page=1 It says that Blizzard changed their traffic pattern in 4.0.1 (Cataclysm launch, 2010) which is exactly when Telenet threads with this problem started showing up. I can also use the 3g/4g internet without experiencing this issue at all and I didn't have random disconnects like this with my last providor (but I really don't want to go back). The dc's also mainly happen during peak hours. On the other hand there are people who have Telenet and claim not to have this problem, also there are thousands of people in Belgium who have Telenet and play Blizzard games so you'd think that Telenet would know this and just give Blizzard games the same treatment as Steam games (never ever random disconnects). If it would happen that Telenet does use traffic shaping then I would go to a consumer protective agency, like https://www.test-aankoop.be (costs pretty much nothing) since the quality of the product is being brought down a lot by Telenet, at the moment I'm pretty much throwing my money away buying Blizzard games. I paid 60 euros for Overwatch (Origins edition because I like it a lot), I paid for Diablo 3 and the expansion, I pay monthly for World of Warcraft and all it's expansions and I pay for my internet. If Telenet would knowingly do this, they have to clearly state that they don't support Blizzard games. And that's fine, then people would at least know what they pay for. But I'm just going to be patient and hope for a solution in the next days/weeks, been waiting on a solution for years now, what's a few weeks. I really hope it's just the modem/router but if I'm gonna buy a new router I need to at least know for sure that's what causing it because obviously I'll buy one of the best routers out there.
