Installatie fibermodem Zaram XGS-PON ONU SFP+ lukt niet

Enkele weken geleden heeft Telenet de glasvezellijn aangelegd. Ik verwachtte dat de bridging niet zou werken, dus kocht ik een XGS-PON ONT van ZARAM om deze in mijn UDM Pro te installeren. Ik heb het geïnstalleerd, de configuratie gedaan volgens de instructies van Telenet (https://www2.telenet.be/residential/nl/klantenservice/internet/modem-en-andere-toestellen/eigen-mode...), maar het werkte niet. Het serienummer is geregistreerd bij Telenet, maar het werkt nog steeds niet.

Heeft iemand succes gehad met het gebruiken van zijn eigen fibermodem?

Tot nader order ondersteunt de Telenet Fiberbox F(a)ST6585LGB-TN geen bridge mode. Maar wat niet is kan nog komen: bij de coax equivalent F(a)3896LG-TN heeft het ook jaren geduurd voor Telenet de bridge mogelijkheid voorzag...

Als er genoeg vraag komt?

Ook benieuwd hoe goed een Fritz!Box Fiber geactiveerd geraakt op de Wyre XGS-PON 🤔

I'll start on the Telenet modem but as it has no bridging support yet (not expecting it any time soon), I will definitely look into alternatives.
Not really interested in Fritz!Box as I don't want built-in wifi (I have Unifi access points) and don't care for DECT (I don't need/want telephony).

Only really interested in maybe trying out something like a Unifi Gateway Fiber with a Zaram module as that should provide support for the alternative fiber networks and providers as well. Should be more future proofand tweaker worthy 😁

Just a heads-up for everyone: it looks like Bridge Mode is officially functional now. Even though the toggle has been visible in the settings for a few months, I could never actually get it to activate—until today. I tried again this morning and it finally kicked in. If you’ve been waiting to use your own router, now is the time to give it another shot!

We kunnen nu dus officieel de Fiberbox F(a)ST6585LGB-TN toevoegen aan het lijstje van Telenet modems die de bridge functie ondérsteunen 

Eigenlijk had ik dat wel verwacht, gezien de Fiberbox F(a)ST6585LGB-TN het "fiber broertje" van de coax 360° modem.

I’ve only enabled IPv4 for now. I want to keep the setup simple while I test the stability of the bridge mode; once I'm sure everything is solid, I’ll look into activating IPv6 as well."

Oh that's really good news! Will definitely use it once I get the Fiberbox.

Still awaiting my installation. Have the fiber since a few weeks, but no signal on that fiber and no real action from Wyre since...

Having the Fiberbox F(a)ST6585LGB-TN supporting bridge passthrough is an excellent news for now, have been waiting for that for months.
However, it will still be amazing if Telenet would update their doc and provide alternatives.
That Zaram XGS-PON ONU SFP+ running 2w is damn sexy compared to the bloat of that damn black box.
